Soothing, clutter-free, and oozing with a zen-like vibe, this 2BHK house nestled in a calm and peaceful location of Kharghar, Navi Mumbai is designed by Silky Dhillon of Silky Dhillon Design Studio. “As an ardent lover of nature, the client requested to incorporate its symbolic references across the 800sqft. home. Based on the brief, we created a harmonious visual connection between the indoors and outdoors through the balcony area. The green foliage in the balcony, which opens to the picturesque view of nature adds to the cosiness of the space. Besides this, we followed the “less is more” philosophy,” says Silky.
The overall theme of this contemporary home revolves around a fresh and elegant aesthetic, featuring a calming colour palette and an exquisite display of arches. From a modern interpretation of a coffered ceiling treatment to captivating accessories, bespoke storage solutions, and captivating gallery wall ideas, every element has been tastefully incorporated into the decor, resulting in a cohesive and inviting theme. The design scheme combines various materials, neutral colour tones, warm textures, and elegant artwork, all thoughtfully planned and brought together to create a harmonious ambience.
