The Jain Residence at Avighna IX, Mumbai, is a pure embodiment of timeless design, grandeur, luxury and comfort. This 2BHK residence synthesises subtle elegance, embellished with custom details and design aesthetics. Envisioned by Principal Designer Silky Dhillon, this 800sq.ft holiday home strings together minimalist yet catchy elements that add to its refined look. The Dubai-based client, in his brief, clearly called for a modern luxurious design for their vacation home in Mumbai. Home to two generations, the owner and his family, who frequently travel from Dubai to Mumbai, desired a cosy and opulent look that effortlessly matches their taste, lifestyle and preferences. The interiors of this cosy haven take a cue from modern Neo-Classical panache.
After several visits to the site and meetings with the client, designer Silky Dhillon poured in all her travel inspirations and consummate skill to achieve the desired design scheme. Sharing her experience,
“Designing this vacation home was indeed an out-of-the-box experience, as it gave me more scope to experiment. Since the brief was clear, we devised a mix of modern neoclassical design for the space. The project required a lot of aesthetic detailing. However, we completed this project in a six-month span.”
